With a debt owing to Stratolinks Inc, he took over the internet connection to be able to keep his business running and continue to provide his customers with internet service. Stratolinks had partnered with ISP Canada in 2002 to provide internet services over his network to customers in rural areas north of London.

Since he had to take over the internet service connection to do this, that also meant that he had to take on the DSL, email, and VoIP service.

Stratolinks did not 'Take-Over' ISP Canada's business.
