DSL connection causing you grief? Let's take a look at some basic troubleshooting steps:

  1. With the modem and router or computer off, ensure the telephone line is connected to your modem, and disconnect any other phone devices in your home or business.
  2. Turn the modem on and watch for the DSL or ADSL light. It should slowly blink, quickly blink, and then go solid - If that light does not eventually go solid after 5 mins. please call the office - If it does go solid then we know the modem is receiving a connection and can continue troubleshooting
  3. Turn on the router or computer and allow it to start up
  4. If you have a router, go ahead and try the internet connection. If you still have no luck, please call the office. If you have a computer directly connected to the modem, please initiate the PPPoE dialer. If the authentication completes, you should be able to browse. If it fails, please call the office.
